The 1920s were well known as the Roarin Twenties for a number of reasons. The main reason was that Canada became much developed. Railways were expanding and new roadstead were built to carry inexpensive cars. Along with the first goal chance to buy on an instalment plan, which meant in that respect was more money to spend on new utilise science to see life easier, such as cars, radios, appliances, and telephones. Salaries change magnitude that resulted in being able to buy more and manufacturing industries -had to make more products which gave people more employment opportunities. It is true that many people prospered from the 1920s, but sure groups suffered from manginess and inequality in this era. The five main groups were immigrants, women, children, Aboriginals, and Maritimes and Prairies. The immigrants and Aboriginals suffered discrimination, women and children socially, and Maritimes and Prairies economically.
